A different forum for learning Inkscape

A different forum for learning Inkscape

Postby Angel135612 » October 9th, 2011, 1:03 pm

I was watching some You Tube videos on how to use Inksacpe for creating cutting files, and came across a forum that is dedicated to learning Inkscape for creating cutting files. It has some great information, and for any of you that are struggling with Inkscape, it may be worth looking into.

Thought this would be a great resource for any one wanting to learn how to use Inkscape.

It is a great forum. The ladies that run are awesome with their tutorials. And it isn't machine specific. I think a lot of them own different types of cutters. It's main focus is to teach inkscape.

Elizabeth, Check out You Tube also... there are some great videos on how to do things, and you can work along with the video, and stop and rewind if you need to see something again. I learned how to make nested shapes this weekend with a video on You Tube. Also there is a lot of great information on the BCUK forum on Inkscape as well, so don't forget to look there.

I didn't think of checking youtube, Diane. Thanks for the tip. I have worked through a couple of the tutorials on the Black Cat forum. They were great.

I joined this forum about 4 weeks ago. I haven't put anything up yet because the first thing I found was a link to a library of video's on you tube and they are great. I am working through the ones I don't know now and I could be a while. I have the video on one computer and I pause while I do it on my other computer. I need to do this so it will stay in my head.
