My new vinyl project

My new vinyl project

Postby kathybessey » August 3rd, 2011, 12:32 am

I haven't taken a picture of the finished project because it is dark outside and I put it on my back car window. I found the graphic in the 900 free vector files that was talked about a while back on the MTC forum. Incredible stuff on there. I added the wording and put a white background behind it all.

I took a picture of it first thing this morning - it appears I tweaked the bottom part a bit when I put it on (oh well, I love it!)

Pat,

I lost all of my bookmarks when I got the new computer, the sample pack that was being given away did not contain all 900 but still had a TON of stuff in it. Since it was a free file would it be wrong to share it here?

Thanks everyone! I just love how it looks on my car! I am thinking about doing up a framed version of this for a wonderful couple I know. Maybe a cross in the background...will have to think about this.

Pat was correct with the site she listed earlier - you download the 900 free files at the top of this page. There is one pdf file and then each graphic comes in two file formats - jpg and I forget the other one. Here is the link http://clipartandfonts.com/CNC.html

Kathy want to thank you again. When this site was first mentioned over at .mtc, I thought why download 900 files? So I never did download it. But your project highlighted the possibilities of what is available from that set of files, so I made a folder just for this set of files, and dowloaded. If you are looking for a cross, there is an absolutely gorgeous cross at the BC UK forum. Do a search for the stained glass cross. I forget exactly who did it (it might even be suzan's cross not sure).
