Shirt and Tumblers

Shirt and Tumblers

Postby Gramof8 » July 22nd, 2011, 10:31 pm

Been busy today. First I made our grandson a shirt for the bike parade he is going to be in tomorrow at our little community fun day at the park. Kids decorate their bikes, ride them around the park block and are judged. He won last year with his John Deere yellow and green decorated bike. Grandpa wired a toy John Deere tractor to the handle bars and it was really cute. He wore Grandpa's John Deere hat. He is spending the week with us and he and grandpa go fishing at night. He loves to fish. This year his theme is Gone Fishing. Thus the shirt and a hat that grandpa made for him with lures on the back.( Hooks broken off).

Then I also worked on the 4 Nebraska tumblers which a friend is taking to Denmark to her niece who was from Nebraska and a Husker fan, but married and now lives in Denmark. The tumblers are gifts to her and hubby and his parents. They have the Husker N Flag and also the Denmark Flag. Two say, Danish Husker Fans, and the other two say, Someone In Nebraska Likes Me. I hope they like them.

A big thanks to Jeannette for all her help with learning how to use her tumbler template. I so appreciated all your pm's to me. I did not use it on the names as decided to try it after the saying was a bit crooked. But I did got the saying on back. It works like a charm. Sure helped me save a lot of time and crooked errors! Thanks so much for your patience and help! :D

Love it...I need to do one for DS. He loves fishing with his grandpa. And Grandpa loves his grandkids to fish with him. I think that is the one thing that keeps him going.

Thanks Penny, but nothing like the wonderful things you create. But we all have our talents big or small don't we?

I have been busy CeCe, and love it. Going to post a photo of grandson with his deco bike and in his shirt. We all had a good time yesterday at the parade.
