Postby PennyDuncan » July 21st, 2011, 11:59 am

Hey everyone....I hope you're all enjoying your week....I can't believe how fast my vacation is going by!!! LOL

So I've worked on an order I had and completed it.......in it's process I played with my Foil Master and MAN OH MAN...Makes me love it even MORE!!!! So so so easy....It was SO cool to print out what I wanted...run it through the Foil Master then load it into my Lynx to cut out what I had just foiled and it was PERFECT!!!! I'm SO addicted!!!! ;)

That is just totally gorgeous!!!! I can't wait until I get my Foil Master and can start playing with it... I think I'm going to have to practice doing the PnC also, so I can cut around what I have foiled.

I was just thinking this morning that I hadn't seen any posts from you about what you have been able to do during your vacation... as always, you do such wonderful work!!!

That is absolutely beautiful!!!!!!!
I love how you made it into an easel card for displaying. I know I would have it on display in a very special spot.

You have a beautiful son. Love the 'proud mama' in you! Isn't it so hard not to brag when they make us so proud?

Penny gorgeous - and - it answers a question I had in my mind - so you foil first - and then cut in that order? The ink from the printer has to be relatively fresh for the foiling to work?

Also, how do you enclose a card of this kind of depth with the flowers? In a box envelope?

Breathtaking georgius!!!!!
I'm still having problems with my Foil Master. I just can't get it to foil without creases or open spots.
I have tried higher/lower temperature and even 2 different laser printers. So frustrating!

Do you want me to try foiling some of your prints, and I can send you some of mine to try - that way hopefully we can sort out where the problem is

THANK YOU SO MUCH EVERYONE!!! You've all made me feel so wonderful........To answer your question Pat in how I enclose the card...I make a custom box for each card I make to make sure I have the box deep enough to allow the embellishments not to get crushed..... I do not think you need to immediately foil once printed....you just need to be sure to print your item in black laser ink....does that make sense????

I am so jealous I want a foilmaster but can't quite swing the funds yet. I want one so bad but then I would have to buy a laser printer too.

Been there - I finally caved and got the laser printer and the Foil Master. What surprises me is how much I am using the laser printer for other things that I want to look really sharp (not photos but text stuff). But I agree Rach - if it was just he Foil Master - that's a deal. The laser printer is the expensive part, but if you get just the monochrome laser it's not too bad. I wanted the all in one so I could copy stamped images and then foil them - am hoping it works as well as I am envisioning. Want to play with that more once the challenge is done!! I hope you can get one because you of all people would do AMAZING things.......

Penny, that is gorgeous but everything you do is gorgeous. I think I may have to stay off this board before my pocket book gets drained. I don't need too much encouragement anyway. I just bought a new printer so don't think I can go out and buy another one right now but this process is gorgeous.
