Anniversary tile

I always loved the tile that CeCe had displayed on her blog and had wanted to try one like it. Well CeCe I totally stole your idea :) The picture isn't the greatest but it turned out fantastic!!! Thanks for the inspiration CeCe!!! We (my daughter and I) made this for her In-Laws 38th anniversary.

Wish I could claim it as my idea, but someone on facebook showed a tile like it, and asked how to do it. That's why I put it on my blog, to show how to do it. Very nice job! Now I need to make one for my sister. Her anniversary is next week. Oh, and I made one for my neighbor when she recently married, and she was thrilled. She asked me where in the world did I find something like that!!!! She loved it. Then she said, "You should sell them." I told her I would love to do that!

Thanks ladies and CeCe the inspiration came from you so the credit is all yours! Otherwise I would never have thought of doing something like that.
Gigi - the tile is 12" x 12". My daughter asked me last week when she arrived at my home what in the world I was going to do with that large tile and I told I didn't know but was sure I would find something! And tonight she asks if we could make a card for her inlaws anniversary. Well one thing led to another and now she has the big tile to take to them and I told her she can buy a card LMBO!

Well, you are quite welcome then, LOL! Actually I checked the link you were using, and it is of the one I made for my neighbor. The "how to" link is much earlier in my blog. I think Conniecuts then did a video tut on it on her blog. I think we both saw the query from the same lady on facebook. :ROFLMBO:

Thanks everyone! It was so much fun figuring the splitting of the letter out and making such a great project for her in-laws - whom I adore!

So far I have been very blessed with my children's choices in spouses - I love both of my son-in-laws and my daughter-in-law and adore all of their parents as well.
