Give us this day... vinyl wall art

Give us this day... vinyl wall art

Postby kathybessey » July 2nd, 2011, 7:21 pm

I made this yesterday using the "sign" file from the SVGCuts "French Quarter Iron Works" set. The "Daily" didn't get on there just right but not bad with my bum hand. I really like the "tiler" feature in MTC. The sign is about 22 inches long. This is the first vinyl I have done in large scale. I have plans for more stuff now LOL

Kathy very nice! What is the width of the image? Is it easier to start with bigger images that are longer rather than wide, or that doesn't matter? I have so much other stuff to do, wall art is like the last thing I will do, but, I do want to do one item in vinyl for my front door at x-mas. Luckily, what I want to do is a one color, no layering image (yippy!!)

I just measured it, it is 20 inches long by 15 1/4 inches wide. I wish I had made it a bit bigger but I still like it! Now to figure out something for my front door, cabinets, mirrors :ROFLMBO: :ROFLMBO: :ROFLMBO: :ROFLMBO: :ROFLMBO: :ROFLMBO: :ROFLMBO:

Kathy, That looks great!!! You did a wonderful job. Can't wait to see what else you do. I still haven't tried the tiler function in MTC.. but since I have a 24 inch cougar, I'm thinking I probably won't need to use it, unless I'm doing something humongous.

That is really nice, Kathy! I'm amazed that you are crafting away, days after surgery! Good for you.
