This is something different! The "orb" is from above my sink light and I can't use it anymore because of the long CFL bulbs. I saw this at http://www.theartofdoingstuff.com/outdoor-orbs-part-ii-how-to-make-a-birdfeeder-from-glass-shades. I made the birdhouse and then used my Cougar to cut out the vinyl embellishments. The orb is about 6" across and the opening is about 3" across. All you need is some string and glue to hang it in a tree.

Thank you everyone. I had to chuckle because when I went in to pick up our Chinese food for dinner last night they had clear glass orbs hanging all over the restaurant and all I could think was "these would make great bird houses!!" LOL

It's actually my daughter Sydney's hand and she's holding a heart shape rock she found at the river. I'm always on the other end of the camera and there's not many pictures of me so I've always just chosen this for my avatars.
