I have been using my lynx to cut vinyl stencils for pallet projects of late. I am really enjoying making them. The clock is my mist recent, and my favorite! It's big. 32" x 32".

Love them all but that clock is awesome! Never thought about using pallets. I really need to go collect some pallets!

Pallets are great, and mine were free, but be careful!!! I ended up stepping on a big nail while taking them apart, had to get a tetanus shot, and get antibiotics for an infection! Lol
So once the dr bills come in, the pallets won't be so free. :ROFLMBO: Leave it to me! But it was so worth it, and I have a lot of wood left ;)

I agree - they look awesome! I assume you are staining the pallets then putting the stencil on, using paint and peeling back stencil. What paint are you using?

Edited: we were posting at the same time it seems! Ooouch! Definitely won't be "free" by the time those medical bills are paid! :o

I did put the pallets together, with a couple strips across the back holding them together. The small signs were old apple crates. I stained them, made vinyl stencils, contact paper wouldn't stick to the wood. I used plain old acrylic craft paint for the words. On the clock i did a light coat of mod podge over the stencil first, and it kept my lines much cleaner, hardly any bleeding.
