Grandson's pillow

Grandson's pillow

Postby SewGranna » July 12th, 2014, 8:21 pm

By no means is this a masterpiece in comparison to everyone's works of art, but my grandson thinks his new pillow is awesome. Granna's having fun learning print and cut.

Thanks all. My oldest grandson has me making him a baseball quilt. This is going to take a while, but I have him helping me with the designs and I told him he was going to stitch the blocks. He will be 10 in a few weeks, so hanging out with Granna is still "cool".

That's terrific! Some of my best childhood memories are crafting with my Grammie.

it's beautiful, I really like the patterns and colors you choose. But I dont understand how it was done on the Silver Bullet? You can cut cloth without it shredding, sliding around? Also, my grandson is 17 and we travel, do schoolwork, craft together. Because you Granna are interesting [ cool ] to begin with, your gs will always want to spend time with you no matter how old he grows. The outer culture tries to steal our kids from their roots every day especially as they grow older. But we steal them back and continually replant them in solid good earth of the family again. Im in my 70s and may we all live a long time in clear mind and best health we can manage.

Oh, thank you that is so sweet! The boys spent the night with me last night & we put their names on their lunch boxes. The design is an image that I saved as a jpg. Then I did print & cut on heat transfer paper for dark images. I then ironed it on the fabric and made the pillow.
