Penny, Those flowers are amazing. YOU are amazing to be able to recreate a template like that. I would love to know how to use those templates. I have gotten back into my quilting, and want to make some tote bags, and I think making some flowers out of fabric to embellish the tote bags with would be awesome. Thank you so much for sharing your talents with the rest of us!!!! You truly are an amazing woman!!!!! :bighug: :bighug: :bighug:

LOVE THOSE!!! THANKS!!! I have been drooling over some fabric flowers I saw online but didn't care for the cost of them. Now I can make my own and made to match whatever project I am doing. Are you gonna do a tut on how to make them? How to use the templates?

I was thinking these fabric flowers would be great embellishments for quilted wall hangings or tote bags or just about anything really. I may have to spend some time today looking at those videos and trying to make some myself... there are just too many cool things I want to work on when I have a day off, I can never decide what I want to do. :-)

Me too, Diane! I really want to try these out, just for fun, but my to-do list is very long right now. While typing that, I realized that I could make some really cute hair accessories for my girlies' Easter baskets. Guess what just popped to the top of my to-do list?

Penny, if anyone in my house complains about undone housework, I'm totally throwing you under the bus! :ROFLMBO: :ROFLMBO:

Elizabeth, when you get your flowers made I want to see pictures!!!!!
I didn't get a chance to try making flowers yesterday, to many other things needed my attention, so those are going to have to wait for another day. I did get some sewing done on a quilt I started, so the day wasn't a total loss as far as crafting goes. :-)

Thanks, Gigi and Lisa! They are so much fun to do! Really simple, once you get the basic idea down. Penny's video tutorial is wonderful!

Elizabeth WOWZER, those look totally awesome!!! I definitely am going to have to find the time to make the templates and make some flowers. I can think of all kinds of things to use them on for embellishing.
