Easter Cards

Easter Cards

Postby Sassycutter » March 17th, 2014, 9:53 pm

I don't usually share because I don't think my creations are "share" worthy and certainly not a masterpiece. I cut the black design out with my Cougar, placed it on an adhesive sheet, burnished microfine glitter onto the open areas and colored with my copics. I am very pleased with how this card turned out.

OH that is so pretty - I love it. The colors and sparkle are gorgeous.

I just love the microfine glitter - it feels like velvet. GREAT job! Looks like a masterpiece to me - glad you are pleased!

Very nice. I would not have thought to color with markers after a project was glittered. That looks great!

WOW that is GORGEOUS and I love the fact you colored with markers!!! Very clever!!! I do my rhinestones for cards that way and the pearls...but hadn't thought about doing that to glitter!!!

Very nice... when I first saw it, I thought it was a sticker like Elizabeth Craft Designs sells. This opens up a lot of possibilities, instead of buying stickers, I can cut my own.

Thank you, everyone, for the compliments!

Angel135612 Yes, when I first saw this type of card it was made with the Elizabeth Craft stickers. I wanted to make my own...my own design and cheaper!!

That is beautiful, Saunceria! I just love it! Please don't feel you shouldn't share your creations. I really enjoy everyone's art! It's so cool that you used markers to color the glitter. I may never buy colored glitter again!

I am right there with you, Kim. I HAVE to get going with some Easter cards. It seems like there is plenty of time, but I know it will fly by like it always does!!
