Once I finish remodeling my grandmother's house, this sign will go on the front room wall. I got the metal frame from Michaels some time ago with a coupon. I cut bronze vinyl and will seal the vinyl onto the frame when the weather gets a little better here.

Very nice Kim. I have very fond memories of time spent with my Cousins at my grandparents house as well!

This was actually no work at all. Just cut the vinyl and adhere. But I saw a similar saying somewhere and just had to make one more to fit us.

Kim - lovely - and a question - how is sealing achieved? What do you intend to use?????????????????

I just use the Minwax Polyurethane spray. The vinyl isn't wanting to stick to the metal very well and the sealer will seal down the edges and keep the vinyl from coming up. Normally don't have to do seal most things when they stay inside the house, but I will on this one.

Thanks Kim. I haven't gotten much into vinyl because of storage issues and cost. I do have 2 rolls here of the stuff (hot pink - UGH) and gold. The gold is a premium color. I should use it.

Vinyl is fun to work with. The main colors I use are black, gold, bronze and then depending on what I am doing, some other colors but not as much. I buy the large rolls of the 3 main colors and the smaller rolls or sheets of the not so much used colors. Let me know if you ever need a color or two.....I just may have enough to share. :)
