One Wall Hanging for a Special Lady......

Hey Everyone.....I hope you've all had a great Tuesday...I'm a bit behind on reading....ughhhhhhhh...I'm been working really hard to get the first of 3 Wall Hangings completed...I really like how this one turned out and Retta I sure hope you like it as well.......It will HOPEFULLY go in the mail to your tomorrow or Thursday!!!

The poem I engraved reads....
I can do All Things through Christ....as He has blessed me I want to bless you through the passion for ART He has given me!!

The material inside the frame, was that from tyler? And what was the dimensions of the inside frame?

That is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! It looks like you have been playing around with engraving.. and that file you used for the inside of the frame is stunning!!!! The flowers look amazing as well... I'm sure that Retta will LOVE it!!!! What an honor to be able to receive one of your ART pieces... all three winners are very lucky indeed.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....THANK YOU SO MUCH everyone!!!! You've made me smile from ear to ear!!! I so hope she loves it!!!! It WAS indeed some of the Silver metal from Tyler....I created the file along with the poem...I'll be sharing the file on my next blog post if anyone might be interested in it....I used the crosshatch 90° fill on the design....the Frame is 8x10 so the metal piece I engraved was roughly a 7 1/2 x 9.....fit perfectly of a full sheet of his metal.......

OK Penny - follow up question - how did you get the gold appearance if you started with a silver metal from Tyler? Did you use Tyler's two-tone process before the engraving? I'm not exactly sure where Tyler's post is right now on the two tone process - but I am sure I can find it (just up first thing in the morning - my mind is not exactly working right now). Thanks a ton in advance.

Yeah actually I've used the alcohol inks to color before doing things for years...however I had done it engraved it and didn't like it so I used blending solution to remove the majority of the alcohol inks......and I also had used some silver rub n buff in the engraving which I ended up not liking either....so I used ALOT of blending solution and denatured alcohol to remove as much of all of that as I could and ended up with the petina you see.....which actually ends up a huge happy accident...LOL
