I just saw that on your blog - it is BEAUTIFUL!! You did a fabulous job with that rose (even though it seemed to initially present some challenges!) Just GORGEOUS.

I didn't want to say it out loud on my blog....BUT ...OMG...what a pain in the butt...LOL. Each rose petal had to made up of at least 10 segments or more...and then all the dotted lines for scoring....had to be a thousand nodes....when you look at the file in MTC ....it looks like there are zippers everywhere...LOL.

I went into inkscape opened up some layers....and traced a new path....so then it cut out quick...LOL. Thank goodness for Inkscape :ROFLMBO: :ROFLMBO:

Thank you Gigi!!

LOL - I was reading in between the lines of your post - it sounded traumatic at best!! So glad you were able to retrace it and make it more user friendly.

You did an awesome job - and you are so welcome!

:hide: :hide: :hide: :hide: Well now that I have gone back and looked at the original file...I realized I could of just used the JOIN tool in Inkscape or the stinking COmbine tool in MTC. But I tried the WELD tool in Inkscape and it didn't work...and not like I ever read up on inkscape what everything does...I just play till I get what I want to work... :hide: :hide: :hide:

At least the card looks pretty...LOL...who cares if I am a dork.... :ROFLMBO: :ROFLMBO: :ROFLMBO:

Beautiful projects Heather.. and I agree with Elizabeth, looking at your projects makes me want to use more glitter and ribbon on my projects. I could spend a whole day just looking through your blog and getting ideas of things to do (although actually DOING some of them seems to be my problem... LOL)

I got that same problem...seeing some ideas...and wanting to them...but I kind of fall short there....LOL. Had to get this done....because it was a wedding. Design Team works...get done....but not too much else....LOL
