Setting up Surecuts a lot for large vinyl sayings

Postby rosetindall » October 30th, 2013, 5:40 pm

I have a 15" Silver bullet and I am using Sure cuts a lot program. I wanted to make a large wall saying so could someone let me know how to set up the sure cuts a lot program step by step please.
The letters will be around 7" tall and I wanted to set the length of the machine up as far as it goes.
Thankyou ;) Rose

Hi Rose, have you registered for the Learning Center? There is an entire section on SCAL in there, it may give you the answers you need.

Yes I have registered in there. I'm still not quite sure how to set it up so it cuts longer than the machine.

When you create your mat in SCAL make the length longer. You can create customized mats any size you want as long as they fit within the dimensions of your machine. So you wouldn't want to make it wider than 15" but the length can be much longer. I don't remember what the limit is since I use SCAL Pro and it extends the length you can cut.

As Lisa said, keep going through the Learning Center and reading the forum - it will all be helpful.
