Here on the Outer Banks of NC we have an annual offshore marlin tournament for breast cancer, it is named the Alice Kelly Tournament. Alice was a local lady who lost her fight with breast cancer and she has an avid offshore fisherlady! It is female only fishing teams, I have the privilege of designing and creating the shirts for 4 of those teams. Here is the first team's shirts. (There is also a contest for the best shirts, I really hope one of mine wins! :-) )

What type of vinyl did you use and where do you buy it from? I am new to purchasing vinyl and I'm looking for a reasonable price and good quality company to buy from.

Thanks!

You can certainly google iron on or heat resistant vinyl and find resources as well as those that have been listed here viewtopic.php?f=44&t=4814&p=86713&hilit=+places+to+purchase+vinyl#p86713

If you want to buy large quantities of vinyl, many use US Cutters or Sign Warehouse for regular vinyl.

The craft stores now carry sheets of vinyl - like JoAnns, Michaels. even WalMart! If you just want sheets to be sure you will use it, vinylsuperstore.com has a good quality and selection.

Hope this helps you start discovering all that is out there -

Be sure you take the time to get to know the machine first and get really comfortable with it before you tackle too many complicated tasks. It will save a lot of frustration and wasted material in the long run!

Another source for vinyls is H&H Sign Supply. You can buy in bulk or in smaller pieces. They have regular vinyl and tshirt vinyl as well as many other supplies. I have regularly bought from them and a few others that I am not recalling at the moment. always had good service, quick turn around and quality product from them. You can get free shipping with a "bulk" order but sometimes they run a $5 shipping special on some Fridays (not a regular occurrence though and haven't seen one in a little while.)
