We used the SB for our Apache Helicopters

We used the SB for our Apache Helicopters

Postby scrappydew » May 30th, 2013, 7:44 am

Well we have 8 Army AH64D Apache helicopters for our company and we needed to rejuvenate our GrimReaper decal on the side nacelle. So we decided to let the silver bullet do the hard work and cut out stenciles allowing us to use those stenciles to paint the reaper on the side. It was basically a 3 layered stencil - And here are the results.

Rob, that is probably the most awesome use of a SB that I have seen! It looks terrific! (HUGE thanks to you and your company for your service!)

Looks awesome! Now that you have the design work done (the hard part!) I can see you making the whole unit new t-shirts as well. Maybe car decals? So many things you could do with it!
Go Vols!

That looks awesome!!!!! It is amazing how many ways the SB can be used and how different people see different things they can use it for. It isn't just a "paper crafting" die cut machine... it is an extension of your imagination....you think it... and you can make it with the Silver Bullet or Cougar!!!!!

Oh Yeah Fort Rucker - every aviator has to go though that place :) Spent 18 months there learning to fly.

I so agree Kim - on all counts!!!

And yes - the SCAL videos are super helpful. The more I use that program the more I like it. And I think it has the easiest print and cut and most accurate - loving working with that too!!

Boy, talk about inspiration!!! On so many fronts!! It blows me away to think our cutting machines can be used to create such great things! I guess I owe my Cougar a little more respect! :)
Thank you and your company (and your families) for your service to our nation. I consider it a personal service to me and my family, and I am profoundly grateful.
