Have you all heard of this font site??
http://www.fontyukle.net/en/list-yeni,1

I found it the other day, and it looks like they have a ton of free fonts available. This is one I hadn't heard of before, so thought I would share it, for all us font junkies... LOL

I don't keep count, but somewhere in the neighborhood of 5000. I would love to find time to sort them into favorites folders. There are some I go back to over and over, and others that I don't use as often (or ever!)

Okay, now I don't feel so bad... LOL I spent my last 3 day weekend going through my fonts, and deleting those that I felt I would NEVER EVER use, just so I could find the ones I would want to use. I still ended up with over 2500, and can't stop going and looking for more. I didn't want to see what the count was BEFORE I deleted all of them. I really need to start using more of my fonts, and not going back to the same one or two that I always seem to use.
My biggest problem when I'm trying to clean out my font folder, when I look at a font, I will think "that would be perfect for this or that type of project" so I want to keep it, but then never do that type of project... :ROFLMBO: :ROFLMBO: :ROFLMBO:
I also found a neat little tidbit that I either didn't know or hadn't noticed before. I downloaded Nexus Font awhile back because I didn't like the way AMP Font Viewer was working, and when I had Nexus Font open, any font that I had "added" to a folder in that program was available in my other programs like Word or Photoshop or Inkscape. I didn't have to install the font, or even temporarily install it before I opened the program (which I would never remember to do because I usually don't know what font I wanted to use). I knew I didn't want to have them all installed on my system but then I forget to use them.

Ok...now I feel like a lite weight! Lol! Thank you guys for sharing, I feel much better now! I am soooooo afraid to delete fonts for fear of deleting a windows needed font! Anyone know if that is possible?

@angel135612 I need to look up nexus, is it a free software? It sounds awesome, I hate having to have a program open like MTC or word to see my fonts! This would make it so much easier. Thanks for sharing the info!

I like Nexus...it's what I switched to a while back...You can also choose a color to preview in, which helps when using vinyl, because it gives you a really good visual of how the finished product will look

Nexus Font Viewer is free and like Lisa said, you can change the color of the view. You can change the size, or the words/phrase you are viewing. Just type in what you want, and it will show you that phrase or word in the font you are looking at. I'm sure there is more the program can do, but I haven't explored everything yet. I've been happy just with what I have done as a basic font viewer with it over the other ones I have tried.

Hey Diane (or anyone who knows...) - I am confused. I know - nothing new! :banghead:

I installed Nexus and it only shows my installed fonts. How did you get it to show ALL of your fonts.....Sure it is some easy step I am missing - but could not find it when I was messing with it last night!

Thanks in advance.

Gigi, Do you have any folders added to your library in Nexus?? I'm not really sure what I did, because I found out quite by accident that I could see my fonts in programs if I had Nexus open when I opened the program.
I do have my folders of fonts (trying to get them organized) listed in the library in Nexus, and those are the fonts that I can see "installed" when I open my programs. I really haven't played with Nexus much, other than using it to view my fonts to decide if I want to keep them or not. Just doing that makes it easier to see them as opposed to having to "open" each font to see what it looks like.
If you need more help let me know and I will try and figure out what I have done to make them available in other programs with out installing.
