Prom flowers inspired by Penny

Prom flowers inspired by Penny

Postby Elizabeth » May 9th, 2013, 6:55 am

Good Morning,

I wanted to share a photo of the corsage I made for my DD for Prom last weekend. She and her BF had decided not to buy flowers, as they are both saving money for college, so I offered to make some, after seeing the projects Penny had made for her sons recently. Naomi accepted my offer, and I got to work.

I had so much fun creating this. It will be treasured memory for me and my daughter. Many, many thanks to Penny for sharing her talent and inspiring me!

( Sean surprised surprised Naomi by buying her a corsage, which is the one she actually wore, of course! They are so sweet!)

I'm flower impaired, so impressive! Every time I try flowers mine turn out looking phooey. Yours look like the real thing. Wonderful work!

Thanks, Pat! Try using plain old copy paper and see if you like the results better. I misted mine with water, and crumpled it up, then uncrumpled and dried it before forming the flowers.
