Believe it or not, this is cougar related....

The corners of this quilt were done with the cougar. the templates for the applique were cut with the cat (not the fabric), and then using the starch method, the fabric was wrapped around the fabric and heavy starch applied, to create a finished applique piece. From this, I learned I like raw edge applique alot better

This is my first attempt at feathers.......Photo blew out all the highlights to try to show borders. The thread is silk, as I wanted my stitches not to show

The quilt is half-bound, I will finish the binding tomorrow and put this one to bed........

Thanks everyone. Retta, this one is a charity quilt, I don't get to keep this one.....it goes off next week........
