A Wedding Present

A Wedding Present

I think my scrapbooking habit has turned into a vinyl habit somehow. I have done tons of vinyl lately. I just did this for a wedding gift and I love it. I am very pleased with the way it turned out. I started with the vinyl and a frame I purchased at Hobby Lobby when it was on sale for 50% off. Then I took a white piece of 12 x 12 cardstock and laid a stencil over it and dabbed it with tan chalk. I then took some glue and put a few dots on the cardstock to add a little sparkle and put glitter on that and let it dry. I put the vinyl on top of the glass and i really like the finished project.

That is stunning and the reciepents will be so thrilled! And it's funny how our scrapbooking habits morph when we get our machines. :ROFLMBO: :ROFLMBO: :ROFLMBO:

Wonderful project! I was going to do a tile for a co-worker who is getting married soon, but I think I will steal your idea instead.

Beautiful Lesa. What a great idea to put the background under the glass and the vinyl on top! They will love it.

haven't completely made my mind up...may be converting another part of the house (re-arranging living spaces)...I can't decide if I want it away from the actual house or in the house, you know, because of those late nights when I can't sleep! :banghead: If it's going to be inside we have to get the kiddos out before that can happen. :whip: They keep saying they are going to leave soon...just hasn't happened yet! :ROFLMBO: He's 20 & She's almost 22

I feel; your pain I am in a very small 10 x 10 room and feel like i need to expand stuff is sitting out in the hallway. I have a basment but feel I would never go down there and my cabinets that I had created for my creative space are too heavy to take down there anyway so I would lose my treasured storage space so I continue to fight the crowded room.
