A couple of t-shirts

A couple of t-shirts

Postby Mary Kobe » February 12th, 2013, 3:13 pm

Here are a couple of t-shirts I made. The one that says "Make Your Heart Smile" is for our Wellness Center. They ordered three for raffle prizes. The one on with the rhinestones is for our Honors' Program for another raffle. And from that raffle, I received additional orders. I am kind of excited! LOL

cute! can't decide which I like better....the rhinestone heart has a different "pattern" to it. How did you do that.

Well, after playing around with the file and not liking the way they were set, I had to find something that I could live with.

I imported a regular heart and cut it in half. I kept one half on my mat. I took that half and made an inside shadow layer. Then I used the rhinestone outline to look at the spacing, making sure I did not accept the feature. Once I found the correct shadow width, I kept creating shadow layers with each previous layer. Then I used the rhinestone feature to create the outlines. I copied and pasted the half heart and flipped it to make the second half of the heart.

I am sure this is clear as mud!

Still haven't done rhinestones. They look great as does the vinyl-1 so creative.
