Lost My Export to Signcut after reinstalling Inkscape

I lost my "export" to signcut after I uninstalled and reinstalled inkscape. I posted on the UK site and someone
answered me to reinstalled signcut over itself. I did that and now have my "export". I export to signcut and
hit the scissors to cut but nothing happens. A prompt appears and disappears so quick that I can't read it.

Can someone help - everyone is asleep on the U.K. site.

Have you tried re-installing it. That sometimes happens.

I would reinstall again and be sure the com port didn't change. I have had that happen too and the reinstall worked.

I'm not sure what your talking about when you say com port. Can you give me a screenshot?

I'm going to have to get back to you in the morning. I drive school bus and have to get to bed.

Com port is where the serial port or usb is connected from the machine to the computer. I attached the screen shot from mine. I really do think the re-install will work, but was grasping for something else. Also be sure all of your settings agree with mine. (except your com port number will be different.)

Morning all

If you are still awake ? Think you may need to go back to the Start Manual and in there is a link to the plug in which is on page 51 on Dawns manual - not sure about the USA one and reinstall the signcut.exe file

good luck getting it working
