Help, I had to reformat my computer, and I've got the dongle version of Signcut. I'm trying to start it up. I have my Registration number, but the activation number isn't working? Where do I find the right one!

Retta, You should have gotten a letter with the Dongle that had your numbers on them. Dawn specifically stated on that letter that you need to keep it safe as she doesn't keep track of them. Hopefully you kept that letter, or kept a copy of it on something other than your hard drive and can find it.

I keep everything. All e-mails and I've been logged into the signcut for years and the dongle too. None of them work and it won't let me sign-in at the site either, not on the zen site or anything else. I have used every number that I have and it will not work at all.

I just pulled up my information - have all of my activation codes in One Note. I have a registration code, a license code and an activation code. Do you have the license code?? the registration code begins with bc, the license is long with letters and numbers and the activation is all numbers. I thought maybe if you knew which was which it might help??

Retta, The activation code would not be in an email, it was on a sheet of paper that came with your dongle

Well I have all the things from Dawn. I had different numbers going from the first license to the dongle. Then when I had to repair it before, I got in contact with Signcut and they gave me a completely other bc number. Said it was my lifetime number and that the other numbers were no good. I tried them all. I don't know what I need now as this is crazy! LOL (I know I am and please stop laughing! ) LOL

Okay I know I kept it, now I have to find the box. I thought I put everything in that e-mail. What will this do if I can't find it?

If you don't have the activation code the dongle will not work

I thought I had. It has been crazy thinking I didn't have it. I have everything else. It is now with those numbers. But I will tell you. Their Dongle license number was different than the one had on file. And on my machine. So it was God's provision that I had gotten that earlier. So double check yours. That was what was so hard. I thought I had them all.

I am fine, Retta. Thanks for asking. Have had my daughter and the grandkids for a week so that has been sheer heaven, even though I am exhausted !! They are gone most of tomorrow at a reunion and then will be leaving Sunday morning. I have never had this much time with the girls so it has been wonderful...

Back to all of my commitments Monday!! But will have great memories to tide me over......

Gigi, that is wonderful. I hope you are going to rest a bit after that. I would hate to see you down. But having them there probably refreshes the soul. I can't imagine being away from family for very long and with as mobile as everyone is, that is just not the case anymore. We all live close, except my parents who live in Florida. And that has only been in the last couple of years. So I'm still not use to thinking of them living down there. Glad you got this time with them.

Wish I could rest but have a lot of commitments in August - chairing a fundraiser for a gala (the Old Mission San Luis Rey) - we are trying to preserve this historic landmark - so that will be taking up a lot of my time. And life seems to keep me jumping, but will get some down time soon! That's what I keep saying anyway..........
