PNC Force and Speed Manually? Vs program settings

Here I am again. I am playing with the setting and figuring out how to cut what force /speed for different media.

I am in the Simple contour cut mode. I have changed the setting in the little scissor box, and have the box ticked to use program settings. When I cut though, it is not using the settings in the program (I did a test...set it to a speed of 20 in the program)..and on the machine have it set to 500. I was wondering if there is a different area to go to in tools/cutter etc in the sign cut program to adjust the speed and force for contour cuts, or does it just need to be done manually

I don't use the settings in the software, I always set them on the machine. I think you have better control over them that way.

Thank you Diane...that is what I am doing now...I just have to make sure that I adjust :0)

I prefer setting the speed/force on the machine as well. If you decide to do a repeat cut because it didn't cut all the way through the first time and you set it through the software, you can't change the force/velocity for the second cut unless you pause and then readjust it before it starts again.

That is what I have been doing. I didn't think about if I needed to adjust...for a repeat cut...so good to know.
