Now up to 4.5.2 - This version added another new feature - you can now rotate/flip textures right on the mat and mirror image them as well! Plus he added Auto 4-Point Perspective/Bilinear Warp. (As he says, watch his video, its too hard to explain!) Here's what he said about changes in 4.5.1 and 4.5.2 along with links to 2 screenr videos he did showing the new features added in 4.5.1 and 4.5.2.
Version 4.5.1Put out version 4.5.1 to fix a couple of bugs in SVG, SCUT2 and WPC file importing.
Added more options to "Wrap Objects To Path" dialog including the ability to "WARP" the objects as you wrap them to a path!
Finally, added a "Zoom All" (Shortcut CTRL+4) command. Will zoom out until all elements on the project are visible.
Edited to add: Here is a video showing the new features in Warp Object to Path:
http://www.screenr.com/8NL7Version 4.5.2Rotating/flipping/mirroring Textures on mat: You can now modify textures on the mat. No longer do you have to open the texture-edit dialog to do this.
Auto 4-Point Perspective/Bilinear Warp: Hard to explain, so watch the video below!
5 minute video of the new features in 4.5.2:
http://www.screenr.com/Koq7There were other smaller bugs fixed and other smaller features updated, but for the most part, that is it for now!
You can download the latest MTC file update on MTC's main download page:
http://www.make-the-cut.com/Download.aspxSo, if you own MTC (and I know many of you do) you may want to update it and check out all the new features and tools he has been adding lately. I know many of us have multiple programs that work with our cutters. Its always good to keep them "up to date" as sometimes one works better to do something then another and remember, all updates to MTC are always free!
