YOU too?! wow.. who'da thought. Well we'll have to compare notes.

I can barely eat out safely unless it's Micky D's. I make all my own food from scratch, use my freezer religiously and either don't go to social functions or take my own food and carrying protein bars on my person is a must! I've just spent about 2 1/2 mo in bed from allergies. Are you gluten free as well?

Yep, I make my own food too, although I can manage some meals out if I am careful where I go, usually somewhere that is happy to adjust menus for me.
I did six months of allergy testing at a special hospital many years ago which was a very big help.
I am ok with gluten, thank goodness!

lucky you with the gluten. unlucky me for eating out. i was out of town recently with a group and i had to sit and watch everyone eat and drink because the restaurant told me there was not one single thing they could prepare for me that i wasn't allergic to. unfortunately, that happens often..i too have found a few 'safe' places to go, but really, eating out is a drag and worse yet is going with me..

Yep, I completely understand that, I avoid it most of the time unless it is with people who know me well and understand

It's very hard to decide what should be the better. A lot of ideas
