Is it only possible to cut about 11 inches tall with the Lynx 12 inch cutter? When I try to cut a full 12 inches, it "pauses" and won't budge. How do I get it off "pause" without turning it off? Thanks; length is wonderful but I'm wasting a lot of material by not being able to cut a full 12 inch height.

The Lynx will cut a 12" width, BUT you have to have the cut positioned exactly right to get those 12". I wouldn't try to cut more than 11.5 or at the most 11.75" wide

And you need to be sure that your paper/card stock is all the way over to the right so it doesn't go out of bounds, so to speak. You can tell by putting your machine off line and then moving the carriage as far to the left as it will go. That will be as far as it will cut and not a mm over! Some have marked their machines so they can tell exactly where then need to keep the paper.

Good advice GiGi; I like some features of this machine, but I'm disappointed that it won't cut a full 12" high.
