blade housing hitting right side of machine repetitively

Was trying to learn to use the pen today with a 12 x 12 paper and a 10x7 card I designed in inkscape. Using Scal 3.046 to draw and cut. Trials worked okay and then when I put in the good paper the housing when returning after cutting kept hitting the right side of the machine and I couldn't stop it. Hit the reset, turned the machine on and off but again when I wrote it seems to want to go further right. What setting am I forgetting?

You need to ensure the screws on the pen holder are facing forward or they will hit to righthand side of the cutter. HTH
