How do you clean your pinch wheels? Mine are sticky and tearing the top layer off of my paper what is the best thing to use and the best way to get to them? Lesa

I use "Goof Off"- no that's not what I am doing!!! It comes in a spray container and for me it worked a lot better and more effortless than Goo Gone. Krylon also makes a spray adhesive remover - have it but haven't tried it yet.

You can remove the pinch wheels entirely from the machine, it makes it very easy to clean them then. In the UK I recommend Crafters Companion Stick Away but I don't know of you can get it over there. The main point is to make sure that you don't use something that will dissolve the rubber

Yes you can get it here Dawn - I have that too - forgot to mention it. LOVE their products.

And I tested the Goof off - it did not harm the rubber.

I have found a product over here in Australia that is easy found in most supermarkets, cheap and environmentaly friendly..
It is Planet Ark Orange Power.. they do a sticky remover but lately I have just been using their air freshner (in a pump pack) and it does the same job, it smells like orange oil so rather pleasant to use as well. I have also been using this to clean my mats (rinse in warm soapy water afterwards) when I want to take all the glue remnants off and start afresh.

Cheers
Jo
