Dan and Carolinle. That looks great. I would love to see the album when you are done. I love it when a plan comes together!

Thanks very much ladies!

Yes, it does feel great to be able to use the machine. This kind of work is the main reason Caroline wanted one.

Here's a link to the font, ChopinScript (it's free)

Second set. The shadowing was a little off in the first set ( I think I fat-fingered the scaling and didn't catch it), but not this time. Caroline did a terrific job pasting up the layers:

Beautiful work!!!! And so glad that you and Caroline are getting the hang of your new machine! It does take some getting used to but so worth the effort. DH is an engineer (need I say more?) and loves the things I can do with my machine (He got a Cricut years ago after he saw some of the things I was doing with it) but after seeing my Cougar (now Silver Bullet), he just lets me do the work and he just tells me what he wants. At first he didn't understand the difference between the Cricut and the Cougar, but once he saw what I could do, he was sold. He wanted a Cougar of his own, but decided it was easier to just TELL me what he wanted. Maybe one day I will let him have my old Cougar. Or not. :ROFLMBO: :ROFLMBO:

But truly glad that you are getting comfortable with your Silver Bullet.

My husband is a CAM programer and former CNC machinist, so this machine made way more sense to him than me in the beginning. He just looked at it as a mini CNC machine! :ROFLMBO: He still helps me when I run into trouble and calls my force and pressure, "speeds and feeds". :D

so pleased to read that you are now getting success with your machine - think the words - there is a learning curver should be engraved on all these machines - your words look great and thanks for the link to the font - never can have too many fonts

looking forward to seeing the other things you have success with

It's two layers cut from paper stock (f = 55,s = 300, 45 degree detail blade). It took more time to lift it off the mat without tearing than anything else (I let Caroline do that!! )
