Just unpacked and i do not see the laser

I am trying to find the laser dot so I can calibrate things but it is not on... am I missing something? I am using scal3 on a mac with Black Cat lynx. Help!

Make sure the machine is online and hit the origin button, that should turn it on.

Please visit the learning center and watch the videos. There is a lot of information there and can answer most of the questions new members ask. the laser needs to be turned on as if it were on all the time it would burn out.
