Machine not cutting image properly in SCAL

I have version 3.027 of SCAL and I am having trouble with my images not cutting properly. They may have a cut where it is not suppose to be or they are too small???? These are svgs that I used in SCAL 2. Can someone please help? I am fairly new to this. I have made sure that my machine is reset to the original settings. Thanks in advance. Brenda

As far as the size of the file, when you import into SCAL, be sure your setting is on Inkscape. Go to Edit>Preferences and on the General Tab, be sure it says SVG DPI -Inkscape (it has been defaulting to Illustrator which brings the images in smaller).

Thanks Gigi - I did change that setting. I am trying to cut a tag and it just cuts a single line! I also tried to cut a flower and it seems like it is going thru the motions but still only a line. Hopefully I can fix this problem soon!

Do you have the pinch wheels down and under a rectangle? If not the carrier mat will not move backwards and forwards and you will get a straight line
