problem with scal 3 print and cut with latest build-solved

Postby dlhill » July 24th, 2012, 1:04 pm

I went to use my print and cut today, and it isnt working. I can align it with my laser, but then nothing happens. It doesnt cut, just sits there. This is my first attempt with the newest scal build. Has anyone else had this happen, or have any suggestions? I usually have no issues with print and cut. Doesnt it usually automatically cut after you align the last mark????

FOUND THE ISSUE-
the scissor icon in the middle of the navigation arrows (the arrows work) doesn't work for me anymore, I just have to hit the cut button on the bottom of the box. Before I only had to click the scissors. Glad its nothing big :D
Thanks for the help!!!

You need to hit the cut button

It still doesnt cut, just sits there. I cant figure out what I am doing wrong. I have used it many times lol
I align the laser on all 3 points, click cut, it goes back to the origin, and sits there...I'm baffled. I am sure it is something obvious I am over looking

Yes, it does all the laser alignment fine. Just doesnt cut after I click the scissors after I align the 3rd mark.
I haven't had this problem before.

Try clicking on the button that says Cut rather than on the scissors icon

Tyler and I found it last friday when we were trying to calibrate my new cutter. He was going to let them know. In the mean time we just have to use the cut button on the bottom right.

Yep! Craft Edge knows and will fix it soon. They are currently away, however since the cut button works fine for the time being, it shouldn't affect anyone too much. They are usually pretty quick at getting bugs fixed though!
