Everything looks great, sorry I couldn't participate but I did have success completing my triage project and the girl I helped is now doing her part cutting and weeding it 200 times.

It is sooooo fun and sooooo easy. I can take a file that could never be cut in paper, and then engrave it. I have one that I just can't find on my harddrive, but I did it as a welcome sign....I seem to like welcoming people... :ROFLMBO: :ROFLMBO: :ROFLMBO: but it engraves/etches beautifully. They make great frames for projects. It can add alot to a project. You don't have to stick with just the etching/engraving, but embellish it with other things. Like Elizabeth did. Penny has also done some wonderful things mixing differnet things together with the engraving. I am enjoying the new etching and distressing tools. I think I may try and do something that combines the engraving and the etching. the engraving will give the deeper grooves and the etching will do the surface effects. I will have to hunt up a file that will work for this.

YIPIEE!!!! I had so much fun this weekend being able to play with my machine, and sharing what I was making on the forum... I definitely need more weekends like that. Thanks again Elizabeth for starting it all... I hope the next time you decide to do one, I have the weekend off again to participate.

You are all welcome! I can't wait to do it again, but it will probably have to wait until after DD graduates, as we are co hosting a party for her and her BF, with his parents, at our house, and I should be getting busy getting some things done around the house.

I received my prize and I have already used it!!! I got a gift cert to SVGCuts which couldn't have come at a better time. While trying to view some of the assembly tutorials of SVGCut files I already had, I found some new ones that I wanted.....really bad. THANK YOU ELIZABETH!!!! But still the best prize was how much fun I had this weekend. I needed something to get me off of my keezer and using some files that I hadn't before.

I also received my prize... SVGCuts Gift Certificate... THANK YOU SO MUCH Elizabeth!!!!! I'm going to have to see which files I want, I just bought some of them last week, so I may wait to see what new sets they come out with over the next couple of weeks. I need to start using more of the ones I already have too... LOL I just love the way they go together, they are so easy.

Kim, I have the set with the antique book box also, and haven't tried making it yet.... not sure what I'm waiting for, but I should work on that the next time I have some time to craft.

Great projects everyone! While you were busy crafting all weekend, I was out of town for DD's VB tourney got back late Sunday night. Came home to baseball games Monday and Tuesday night, get tonight off and then have a BB tourney that starts Thurs. night through the weekend. One day I will get back into that craft room I am sure. ;)

Congratulations everyone. I cut about 30 files and some were inspired by Pinterest. But I only cut them out of plain white paper and put them together to make sure they worked. Had fun doing some of this stuff!! Thanks for the challenge.

I made one card and cut some vinyl for my Kayak. Yeah, I know. Not the norm. When I can get the photos uploaded from my phone to the internet, I'll show you. Til then. I really did check in and I did (sorta) participate.
Thanks!
