I am so excited! I am virtually dusting and vacuuming! (Should be doing it for real, but my craft room is calling me!)

If I can remember how, I will join you. I haven't done it for ages, and the wifi in my craft room isn't great, but I'll try.

I should be around tonight! Need to find my headset and make sure it is charged.

I know what I am going to be doing for my project.....sort of. Sherri sent me a new control panel and I ordered a couple of things, like the new etching tool. She sent me some goodies to boot. I am so excited......ya'll have been talking about the mirrored sheets from JoAnn's and mine doesn't carry it. She sent me some!!! I am so excited....now I have something to try out my new etching tool! I don't Pinterest...I can barely Facebook :hide: but I "virtually" Pinned the things that Lisa and Penny have been showing us with the two new tools that Sherri now has.

Guess I had better make sure my camera battery is charged too!

Yes, I want to see photos! I have everything I need to engrave, but I haven't dared to do it yet. Maybe this will be the weekend.

Food???? You are thinking about food when there is crafting to do??? Call out for a pizza, and let them take care of themselves... LOL Too early to eat here... so I'm sure I will be stopping at some point to get something to eat.. but I'm home alone until midnight... so I can make as big of a mess as I want :-)

We just finished shoveling down a lasagna that I pulled out of the freezer. I would have been on time, but I forgot to put on water for vegetarian DD's spinach ravioli, and had to do that before we could eat. Now I'm done, and ready to head up to my space.

OOhhhh! I might actually get to join in this time! I've got some vinyl I need to cut for a special project. No hints cuz you ladies will think I'm crazy but I'll post pictures when it's done. Maybe I'll get to make a card or two while I'm at it, but not until tomorrow or Sunday.
Thanks!

I can't get my headphones to work on my laptop, but my speakers and microphone on my laptop work, just not sure if there would be any feedback from using those. But I have started cutting out a few things, and gluing them together... always have such a hard time selecting papers, but once I get that part done, the rest always seems to be so easy... LOL.

I'm scrapping tonight so not exactly what the party entails, but I am having fun creating. Tomorrow I am hoping to do a project that was inspired at least by pinterest. I need my h to get me perfect measurements before I cut the glass and begin the painting. If it turns out I will post pictures. I used to have a skype account but i have no idea how to use it and I am not sure it is back on the computer even after replacing the hard drive recently....

Oy! I got distracted from my own party. So sorry! Good thing it is going on all weekend. No specific rules, for anyone who is wondering, just make something inspired by your Pinterest boards, or your list of internet insprired projects, and post a photo on this link to get your name in the hat for a prize. You will get one entry per project.

Last night, I made these one sided note cards:
DSCN6631.jpg

They were loosely insprired by this pin: http://pinterest.com/pin/14777504999942626/
They are now tucked in a box and waiting to be sent to my DD when she leaves for college in the fall. I am determined to mail her a card from home each week she is away. This stash will get me started.

I also threw together this cute little owl:
DSCN6631.jpg

I pinned it here: http://pinterest.com/pin/14777504999983669/

Mine is a bit sloppy, but the idea is cute. I have no particular use for it, I was just curious about how it went together. (I pixel traced it in MTC and did a print and cut.)

I hope you all have time to do some crafting this weekend. Sounds like it is a busy weekend for most.

(I don't know why the cards are showing up twice. They are only there once in my post. Curious!)

Elizabeth, those cards are really cute!!! and I love the owl.

I managed to make the tea box from the SVGCuts set Tea for You & Me, but haven't done much embellishing on it. I hope to make the tea cup and pot sometime today. I just need to find some good paper to use. I also want to make a few cards and use some of my stash of glitter... will see how much I can actually get done... LOL

Can't wait to see, Diane! I have spent the last two hours trying to cut vinyl to put on a 1 inch tall glass bottle. I can't get the teeny tiny lettering to work, so I have moved on to a 4" inch canvas. Sometimes size does matter,LOL!

Okay, I didn't do much embellishing, I always have a hard time with that.. but here is the box I made last night. I love the way SVGCuts files go together, they are super easy and always fit together well.
