I'm not home today, so not going to get to play...watching the debate tonight, so not playing then either...unless I watch it on the computer LOL! So I guess it will be this weekend before I can get more cards made... ;)

Hope some more of you play along and post some eye candy!!

RULE CHANGE: just make something and post!!! Not a # requirement or style...just play time!!!!

I just got home from vacation yesterday... I took today off, to relax before having to go back to work... so I'm hoping between doing laundry and other things that need doing around the house, I can take a little time to play (especially since I got my new Fiskars Fuse yesterday!!!!)

I hope this counts for last week. I finished them around 11:00 last night, but didn't take the photos until now. They are pages for albums that I am making for my daughters for Christmas. Each page is a pocket that will hold a recipe that is a Christmas tradition for our family. I have been working on the designs for quite awhile now, trying for a look that is somewhat consistent throughout the album. I'm not in love with these pages, and will probably go back and play around with the paper I use for the bows. They look too flat for me, even with the shading and glossy glue I added. But at least I can say I started.

BTW - the basic album page is from Phyllis' challenge for the Fall/Halloween crop last year.

You are doing well!!!! I love the pages. I find if I mat some things (ie: the bows,) that makes a huge amount of difference.

I cut 3 things plus a do over I need to post pics of yet. I did them Thursday. So pics on the way

Thanks, Lisa and Retta.

Retta, I think that is exactly what is needed, plus a very tiny dark shadow layer under each of the layers. I will play with that idea later on in the week. Thanks so much for the great tip!

Thanks, Elizabeth.

Just because the Christmas stamps are out doesn't mean mine will get mailed! :ROFLMBO:
