Well this post comes with a story!!! A short one so don't cringe!! I just received (yesterday) two new fabric blades from Sherri and the blade I had in the blade holder marked for fabric looks NOTHING like these - in fact it looks nothing like any of my blades!!! :ROFLMBO:  :ROFLMBO: So I guess it's nothing short of incredible that I was able to cut tissue paper in the first place!!! :ROFLMBO: :ROFLMBO:

So I have a new project to share - the one I could never do well. No wonder!!

I also added a rhinestone to the first project and added that to my previous post...

That's beautiful, Gigi! Funny about the blade. I try so hard not to mix mine up, but the other day, I emptied out my little blade holder drawer, and found 3 unmarked blades rolling around in the bottom. Oops!

Well Elizabeth - the weird thing is I keep them all in the little packets with the labels - the only ones I have loose are old CR****blades!! So I ahve to get out a few others and compare - it could be a 60 degree but no clue how it ended up in the fabric blade pile!!!

And yes Lisa - I made it MUCH harder than it was......... no news flash there!! :banghead: :banghead:

I started taping the little bag that Sherri's blades come in to the side of the machine, when I put a new blade in. That way I can remember what blade I'm using and put it back when I need to change them for different projects. I still have a few blades that I didn't get from Sherri and if I use those it will write what they are on a piece of painters tape when I use those.

I always tape my blade holder and blade bags to the machine. I have a holder for each so that makes it easier - love that system.

Ok, I will post here and on facebook too (if I can figure out how)! This is my interpretation of what Lisa did. I used one of Monica's files too and the reindeer is from LD. It is far from perfect, I learned a lot about how to do the next one!

You are all really too kind. Thanks. Like I said, far from perfect, but I did learn, and I intend to try something else now with the tissue paper.

Thanks Gigi, and everyone else too. But Gigi, you outdid me. The metallic tissue paper cut wonderfully. And actually regular tissue paper cut fine too, but I could not get it off my mat!!!! And I didn't have time to mess around with it, so just went with the metallic.
