Silver Bullet Cutters Forum

Hey everyone....Hope you are all having a WONDERFUL DAY!!!! OK.....so we need to get some activity going for our WONDERFUL Sherri and her store!!!!! She so deserves it don't you think???!!!! What better way to do that then to just show some of the FANTASTIC things our Silver Bullet Professional Cutters can do.....(and ALL other cutters as well.....Black Cats, Eclipes', Silhouettes....whatever you're using........) and do a CHALLENGE!!!!

This will be a Challenge using Sherri's FABRIC BLADES!!! http://thatsscrapinc.com/30degreefabricblade.aspx I know it's a blade that isn't used alot but it truly is a WONDERFUL blade!!!! We're giving ADVANCED notice of this upcoming Challenge.....the Challenge will begin on September 1st and run for 14 days....to allow everyone to have 2 weekends in there to create!!!!

The following people will be creating projects for the Challenge:

Lisa
Penny
Elizabeth
SugrFoot
Mary
Rachel

We are going to limit the total number of projects to create if you choose to....to 8.....so we have openings for 2 more Forum Members who would also like to create a project for the Challenge......This will be a Challenge/Blog Hop combination........Each creator for the Challenge will create their project and post it here on the forum in the Challenge Section and ALSO post on their prospective blogs linking to each other....IF you're interested in being one of the 2 Forum Members to create a project for this challenge then send myself, Penny Duncan a private message....it will be opene to first come first serve!!....

We will be requiring all participants in the Challenge to post their creations to the Silver Bullet Facebook Page... https://www.facebook.com/pages/Silver-Bullet-Cutters/197911263669487?ref=hl .this will allow more traffic to be drivin there and help promote the Silver Bullet Professional Cutter and ultimately Sherri....

At the end of the Challenge a prize will be given to one lucky winner!!!! This prize with be a Gift Certificate to Sherri's Store.... http://thatsscrapinc.com ....How AWESOME of a prize will that be!!!!

So....IF you don't already have your Fabric Blade.... http://thatsscrapinc.com/30degreefabricblade.aspx You'll want to get it ordered to be prepared for September 1st.....Keeping in mind.....this blade will work with most all cutters.......as you can see when viewing the blade at the link above.....So...just because you may not have a Silver Bullet Professional Cutter...you are still invited to participate in the challenge......just get one of the blades and join in on the fun!!!!! Spread the word to!!!! This is going to be ALOT of fun!!!!

how timely, as I have to cut some..but, question is about the way to adhere fabric to the mat, as sherri doesn't have the extra sticky mats yet (or perhaps that changed? Have no idea.......) I have my fabric blade for the cougar....so if challenges involve fabric, we should know how to adhere to mats..........

as an aside, I would love to see some challenges involve sewing fabric to cardstock........whewie!

Yep Sept 1........I'm not sure if she'll have her new mats out by then...BUT if she does...the mats for the Silver Bullet work GREAT!!!!!! you just want to be sure to brayer down very very well.......

Can someone please share with me what Sugrfoot's blog address is......Also....I think I'm going to make another reminder announcement tomorrow about the Challenge coming on the 1st.......any one thing I should say anything in specific??????

Since you are "starting" the hop, we will need to know your order that you are sending people and make sure we all coinside on that aspect, that way everyone is following the same path. If you do an "intro" statement in your blog - written - then we can all copy that part and then add our own projects...clear like mud? you have my phone number, you can call...LOL we also need to make sure we are directing everyone to the correct spot on FB to put their pics and have the same links used for referencing the blade/cutter/ etc. and I think we need to include the new web site as well

Yes will need to know too, I still need to fine tune my project thank goodness I have a few more days. LOL

I have been working on my blog post, and was wondering if there is an official name for the Blog Hop that I could reference in my post.

I hope to have my project all done and my post ready to post by Thursday evening (I won't hit send until Saturday.) It is coming along nicely, but I still need to take photos of all of the steps to add to my tutorial. I have Thursday off, so I can take daytime photos.
