Now that every one has their cards.. I can't wait to see the pictures and hear about the techniques that were used on them. Sounds like every one had a great time making them.

OK Elizabeth,

Give up the info on how you did the moon?

Elsa
Did the pumpkin already have this patena (sp) or did you do something, if you did what did you do?

I love them all!!!!!!!!!!

I am getting my list ready.
The pumpkin was cut from copper with the Cougar and I used Magic Metallics to make it really patina.

The patina solution can work directly on some metal. Or you can apply their metal base paint to other surfaces then patina it.

Thanks posting the pictures Dana! I love each and every one of the cards. I need to come up with a way to display them all (this set plus the other two I have and the winter set still being created!)

I want to know how Dana got the glitter so nicely covered on those little places like the witch's hat and shoes. And is that glossy accents or UTEE or what on the jack-o-latern's eyes?

Hi Kathey.

I used glossy accents on the shoes and hat. Painted it on and then added the glitter. For the pumpkin face I used a glaze pen in clear. The pen is made by the same company as the Gelly Roll Pens.

The photos are great, Dana! I really, really love this batch of cards. I take them out every few days to oggle them! They are all so cool! My daughters are enjoying them, too.

Linda, I have plans to make a tutorial on the moon to post on my blog over the weekend. I will let you know as soon as I get it done.

These were really beautiful. I like them all.
Questions:
On mine: Not a how to but a how would I.....My original intent was to use the homemade "flower soft" on the tree leaves. I made it and even went so far as to put it in a mini food processor to get it very fine before coloring it. But, when I put it on, it looked like clumps of YUK. I have never seen the actual stuff but is the homemade as soft as the other? Is there a trick to using it? I ended up just coloring the background with oil sticks.

Kathy Bessy: What is the soft stuff on the veins of the leaves? They feel fuzzy.

Penny: Did you do the lettering with your foil machine? Is your pumpkin painted with markers or are they a PnC?

Jeanette: I know how you did your ghost. How did you do the rest? :D My daughter and granddaughters loved your ghost.

Retta: Did you emboss/ engrave the veins in the leaves?

These are such fun to do!

Everyone - great job and great info on the techniques.

Elsa - the metal is fabulous!
Elizabeth - can't wait to see the moon.
Dana - glaze pen, I know I need that.

To answer the question on the leaves - I bought them that way. Ito admit I didn't do too much to them, just loved the leaves when I saw them.

Elizabeth, I can't wait to see the moon tutorial as well!!!

Dana - Yep I need to find one of the glaze pens LOL and jeez I never thought about sprinkling the glitter on while the glossy accents is wet! Thanks

As to the veins on my leaves - I actually drew the veins on and then used my stylus on the leaves - a little more pressure than normal to get that fuzzy feeling to them LOL

My moon tutorial is now posted on my Blog,(along with a couple of really early snowman photos). It is my first tutorial, and I am not the world's greatest photographer, but hopefully it will be of some use.

Yes I did the works with my Foilmaster and I colored the pumpkins and ghost with markers but did the PNC before I colored.....
